During the 145th INTA Annual Conference in Singapore, the delegation held warm and friendly discussions with IP lawyers from Europe, Australia, South America and Japan to exchange views and experience, which laid a good foundation for future cooperation.

During the conference, the delegation attended a number of forums, symposia and tea receptions, fully arranged the daily schedule, through the mutual communication with customers and industry elites, we are not only passed our company's service concept and level, but also, the results are truly spectacular.

Ms. ZHAO Simeng, the Senior partner of Janlea, met with staff of WIPO to exchange views on the problems and difficulties encountered by Janlea clients during the international registration, and over a friendly negotiation on further cooperation between Janlea and them. Over an hour of practical and friendly talks, both sides reached a consensus.

After four long years, our lawyers met with women lawyers from cooperative law firms over the world. Everyone was so happy! Greet each other. After the friendly meeting and exchange, these steel roses took a group photo. Also, we would also like to thank these women for their great contribution to the protection of intellectual property rights.

Mrs. Feng Rui and Mrs. CAI Xiaoqiong, senior partners of Jealan, met with the legal affairs of famous cosmetics brands during the INTA conference in Singapore. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on the domestic trademark registration protection, amendment of trademark law and change of trademark examination standards.

Also, the delegation met with the legal representatives of clients who have cooperated with Janlea for many years. The two sides discussed the trademark infringement cases and other issues together, and discussed the amendment of trademark law and the change of trademark examination standards in depth.

Mrs. Feng Rui and Mrs. CAI Xiaoqiong, senior partners of Zhengli, made a comprehensive communication with DANNEMANN SIEMSEN, a Brazilian law firm, on such issues as trademark protection strategy, crackdown on malicious application, examination of invalidation of opposition, and well-known trademark recognition.

During the meeting with Rajah & Tann, a Singapore law firm, the two sides exchanged views on the differences in trademark inquiry and registration, Chinese and Singapore examination standards, and discussed further expansion of cooperation between the two sides.

Mrs. Feng Rui and Mrs. CAI Xiaoqiong, the senior partners of Janlea, met with the legal team representatives of Winston & Strawn, an American law firm. The two sides discussed the contents of the revised draft of Chinese trademark law, communicated with each other on a series of issues such as assignment of trademarks arising from the merger and acquisition of American enterprises, and promoted further in-depth cooperation in the future.

During the meeting with Raja, Darryl & Loh, a Malaysian law firm, the two sides exchanged views on the similarities and differences of trademark examination systems and standards in China and Malaysia, and provided professional advice on how to effectively provide evidence of use for cases of withdrawal of non-use for continuous three years and how to review goods/services. 

Mrs. Jiao Yan, the senior partner of Janlea, had a warm and friendly conversation with intellectual property lawyers from Europe, Australia, South America and Asia respectively. The two sides exchanged experience and ideas, and communicated about the application of trademark law and service orientation, which laid a good foundation for the future cooperation.

In a series of talks, constant communication and sharing, the INTA meeting is coming to an end, and the journey of the delegation is also coming to an end. Years of static good with Janlea’s accompany, through the wind and rain, still do not abandon, look forward to the next reunion together!
