On Nov 18, 2008, the First Member Representative Assembly of Trademark Agency Branch of CTA was held in Beijing. Deputy director of the State Administration of Industry and Commerce, i.e. Fu Shuangjian, president of CTA, i.e. Li Jianzhong, the Administration of Folk Organization under Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, i.e. Li Yong, director of the Trademark Office under the State Administration of Industry and Commerce, i.e. Li Jianchang and deputy director of Trademark Review and Adjudication Board under the State Administration of Industry and Commerce, i.e. Chen Zhuo, were present at the assembly.    

The establishment of Trademark Agency Branch of CTA is compliance with not only the needs of developing situation of trademark work, but also the trademark agents and trademark workers’ nourishing hope. The following jobs will be at the top of agenda of Trademark Agency Branch of CTA: strengthening the self-discipline of industries, promoting the construction of the principle of honesty and credibility, supervising, checking and managing the agency activities of the trademark agency organization and its personnel, copying results, rewards & punishments and relating data to Trademark Office and industrial and commerce authorities where the agency was registered, revealing trademark agency’s actions severely violating the relevant stipulations and other actions such as unfair competitions and exploring and establishing new managing mechanism of trademark agency industry under new situations.

On the founding date of Trademark Agency Branch of CTA, “Regulations of Trademark Agency Branch of CTA”, “Managing Regulations of Trademark Agency Branch of CTA” and “Paying and Management Regulations of Membership Dues of Trademark Agency Branch of CTA” were examined and approved. What’s more, The First Council of Trademark Agency Branch of CTA was also held, on which Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General were elected. Janlea was deeply honored to be elected the Vice Chairman of Trademark Agency Branch on this council.
