From April 14th to 15th 2016, “2016 China Intellectual Property and Innovation Summit” was held at the Shanghai Paris Spring New World Hotel. Janlea Intellectual Property was invited to attend the summit, along with judge representatives from intellectual property courts, intellectual property representatives from businesses and intellectual property agencies from more than twenty countries including China, the United States, Japan, Korea, Germany, Sweden and Singapore.
 

The General Manager of Janlea Intellectual Property – Patent Company was the guest host speaker of the theme “Opportunities and Challenges Foreign Businesses Face in China”. She and intellectual property directors from Siemens, DuPont, and 3M discussed and shared experiences with the intellectual property managers with regards to the theme. The three guests explicated the opportunities and challenges faced by foreign businesses in China, in terms of, such as, the talent driving force in modern entrepreneurial development, the diversification of the current reward policies, and compensation of winning patent litigations, where as GM Zhang analyzed the forwardness and importance of the agents’ writing techniques, and the challenges on the intellectual property management of businesses posed by the increase in patent applications and the large-scale early releases of technical schemes. In the group discussion sessions, representatives from domestic and abroad inquired on issues including how to balance the disparities in the domestic and foreign award policies and the amount of compensation of patent litigations. The four guests answered actively and professionally, moving the event to a climax. 
 

During the event, organization committee of the summit showed great appreciation to Janlea for taking over the host position of the topic, presenting deep analysis on the topic, and providing practical exemplary values. Janlea Intellectual also thanked the summit for their invitation and for the opportunity to have deep conversations and substantial communication with agency representatives from the US, Germany, Korea and with business representatives from Midea, LeTV, Yili and 3M, on the issues of intellectual property protection.
