Recently, Singapore has launched “IPOS GO”, the world’s first mobile APP for the trademark’s registration and reform the way of trademark’s registration. This mobile APP is developed by Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), applicants will be allowed to seek the protection on trademarks through the submission of application for trademarks on mobile devices.

“IPOS Go” has simple and friendly user interface and smooth user experience, and then applicant can submit applications for the registration more convenient and faster. Time of the application for the registration has been reduced from 45 – 60 minutes to 10 minutes by this APP, also largely reduced the cost of application. 

Person in charge of the registration of trademark in IPOS said, “IPOS Go” can help establishments and entrepreneur to protect the right of trademark better, furthermore, can establish loyalty among customers and gain benefit from it.
